The company was founded in 1963 and first produced filters and accessories for hydraulic systems.

Today the HYDAC company employs more than 6000 people worldwide. It is a group of companies with trade and service partners all over the world. Main production facilities are located in the cities of Sulzbach (Saar), Saarbrücken, Dudweiler and Neunkirchen. The company has 10 branches only in Germany and more than 40 branches beyond, including the global sales network with more than 500 partners.
